The government authority in New Jersey is seeking vendors to provide a comprehensive range of technical professional services related to port facilities. Required expertise includes operation, analysis, and planning for port infrastructure; design of new piers, wharves, and associated structures; and assessments such as underwater condition surveys.
Additional scope areas involve the design and rehabilitation of existing marine structures, hydrographic and dredging design, land surveying, civil and site design (including roadway, grading, paving, and utilities), foundation and structural design, low voltage and IT systems, as well as fire instrumentation and controls, alarm systems, and CCTV/security.
Vendors will participate in the preparation and review of design/bid documents, exploration of rebates and incentives, subsurface investigations (including drilling, core sampling, and laboratory analysis), and must provide foundation and pile design loading criteria. Construction phase services may also be required based on project needs.
