A government authority located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive technical accounting services. The selected firm will deliver technical accounting assistance, training, and professional development for the agency’s financial services staff. Responsibilities include supporting the preparation of annual operating and capital budgets, providing guidance and ongoing support for asset management compliance and reporting, and assisting with the fiscal year end closeout process.

Additionally, the vendor will offer financial analysis and technical accounting support for the implementation of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) program, including preparing documentation and materials for RAD training and program roll-out. The scope also involves consultation on complex accounting issues, regulatory compliance at federal, state, and local levels, and accounting and financial reporting support for agency projects. Support will include establishing and maintaining development-related accounting structures within the general ledger. The contract will be for a period of three years.
