The State of North Carolina is seeking a qualified vendor to design, implement, configure, and support a secure Team Awareness Kit (TAK) system. The required solution should include the deployment of TAK Server, Android Team Awareness Kit (ATAK), WinTAK, iTAK, and related TAK applications, providing secure, real-time geospatial visualization across Android, iOS, and Windows device platforms.
The system must enable secure communication and data sharing among North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation (NCSBI) personnel as well as external first responder agencies. Integration of capabilities such as flight tracking, personnel tracking, and video feeds from unmanned systems into a unified interface is required. Additionally, the solution should support advanced data integration from current NCSBI systems, including DataMiner, GPS equipment, and body cameras, to facilitate enhanced multi-agency collaboration.
Vendors must ensure the solution adheres to strict data security requirements and law enforcement compliance standards. The system should deliver scalability for 50 to 100 concurrent users across multiple locations and support secure information sharing while protecting sensitive data. Long-term sustainability and robust support through ongoing system maintenance are essential components of this engagement. The contract is expected to span one year.
