(1) Vendor needs to provide tax and data collection solutions. • Agency seeks new and innovative technological solutions to improve tax and data collection from licensed valet parking companies that operate in the city to increase tax compliance, provide consumer and operator protection, and transparency in operations and transactions that give rise to the tax liability. • Real time remittance of tax payments from valet operators. • Ability for the customer and valet operator to exchange information in a safe and secure manner. • Ability to accept multiple forms of electronic payment. • Ability to track GPS location against active licensed valet locations. • Marketing and public information strategy. • Backup solution for processing payments and remitting applicable taxes when there is an application failure. • Process for identifying noncompliant operators • Valet operator license information and vehicle location tracking, including data such as valet employees, date/time of vehicle drop–off and pick–up, locations and number of vehicles in the possession of the licensed valet operator at any given time, payment remitted, individual and total tax assessed, and date/time and duration of vehicle possession in valet.
