A vendor is sought to provide the Taiga Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for installation and integration into established laboratory workflows in the Northwest Territories. The selected company will be responsible for the full implementation process, including system installation, configuration, and integration, supported by comprehensive professional services.
Services required include project management, business analysis, training, documentation, and acceptance testing. The vendor must deliver a Microsoft Project schedule or an approved equivalent, detailing tasks, durations, projected dates, and resource allocations. Additionally, configurable reporting tools and ad hoc reporting templates must be provided.
Short-term, product-specific assistance during the go-live phase is expected to reinforce user training and promote operational self-sufficiency. The vendor should offer best practice testing recommendations, analyze and support issues arising during testing, and maintain the existing legacy LIMS. Integration with external IT systems, unrelated data platforms, and with PeopleSoft is also required. The duration of the contract is one year.
