The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) at Patuxent River, Maryland is seeking qualified firms to support and integrate the Flight Management Function Application (FMF App) software into the T-45 Mission Computer Alternative (MCA). This integration effort aims to resolve existing deficiencies within the FMF App using known commercial solutions, ensuring compatibility with the T-45 MCA. The integrated FMF App must be capable of processing positional data inputs, transmitting navigational data outputs to the aircraft's primary flight display interface, and performing structural coverage analysis.
The FMF App is a Future Airborne Capability Environment (FACE) conformant software solution developed for the Program Management Air (PMA) 209 at NAVAIR. It includes the Mission Flight Management Software (MFMS-1000) and the Localizer Performance with Vertical Guidance Calculator (LPVC-1000), providing advanced Required Navigation Performance (RNP) Area Navigation (RNAV) capabilities to meet evolved airspace regulations.
