The government authority in Kansas seeks a vendor to provide student nutrition equipment services. The project involves disconnecting, removing, and properly disposing of the existing disposer unit. The selected vendor will reroute and modify water supply lines for the dish machine, drain quench, hose reel, and backflow preventer to enable the placement of a new scrap collector.
Work also includes the addition of shut-off valves as needed and installation of tees in lines to create new hot and cold water supplies for a pre-rinse faucet. The contractor must cut out sections of the soiled dish table to accommodate new equipment and install a new table section. Additional responsibilities are connecting the collector to the existing disposer drain or floor sink and integrating the new collector with the existing 208v 3-phase disposer electrical circuit.
All materials and installation services are to be supplied by the contractor to ensure functional upgrades to student nutrition facilities.
