A government authority in Connecticut is seeking a vendor to deliver a student-centered portfolio strategy service aimed at improving educational experiences across its school sites. The initiative focuses on a comprehensive analysis of current student enrollment, mobility trends, feeder pattern alignment, facilities usage and capacity, and staffing ratios. The vendor will assess the scope and effectiveness of academic, social-emotional, enrichment, extracurricular, and athletic programs to inform resource allocation and enhance student opportunities.
The selected vendor should demonstrate expertise in strategic resource deployment, transformational change management, and public education reform. Responsibilities include defining a process and plan for stakeholder engagement, gathering and analyzing input from district staff, board leaders, community members, and administrators, and compiling a summary report based on both qualitative and quantitative data. Tasks will also entail facilitating scenario planning, developing recommendations, and supporting a landscape analysis of the district's current portfolio of schools, including providing a portfolio planning tool. The project is expected to span one year.
