The selected vendor will be responsible for providing comprehensive student banking program services to a North Carolina government authority. The scope encompasses delivering financial support and resources for financial wellness programming, including services benefiting students, faculty, staff, and alumni, as well as organizing educational workshops and financial-themed events.
Key components of the program include providing on-campus banking services, establishing incentive programs for participants achieving predetermined financial goals, and collaborating with the Financial Wellness Hub to define these metrics. The provider will have the opportunity for exclusive banking visibility at campus events, integrate services with critical campus systems such as Salesforce and Canvas, and supply campus ATMs at major student centers with the possibility of opening an on-campus branch.
Additional requirements include developing tailored marketing initiatives and co-branded materials, providing financial literacy education for K–12 students and their families, supporting presentations on college preparation, and offering resources for online, non-traditional, and recent alumni populations. The selected bank must maintain PCI compliance and FDIC membership. Academic partnership opportunities such as summer internships and research collaborations are also anticipated. The initial contract term will be for three years.
