Structural Repair Services

A government authority in San Diego, California is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive structural repair services. The project involves furnishing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals to rehabilitate an existing concrete marginal, including the demolition and removal of portions of the concrete deck, pile caps, and related structures. Construction activities will include building a new reinforced concrete deck, repairing existing piles, installing pile jackets, and replacing various waterfront elements such as bull rails, wale systems, and mooring hardware like bollards.

The scope of work extends to electrical system upgrades, involving the removal, relocation, and reinstallation of the existing shore power system and all associated infrastructure, with full testing and commissioning to ensure it operates properly. The project also includes site improvement tasks, such as utility installations and replacements (potable water, stormwater, drainage), pavement replacement, and utility potholing. Additional requirements include excavation, backfill, dewatering, demolition, hauling, disposal, and associated temporary work. All activities must conform to applicable environmental regulations, in-water work restrictions, turbidity controls, monitoring, and seasonal limitations.
