The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive outreach strategy aimed at enhancing streamside planting initiatives. This includes serving as a design, marketing, engagement, or communications consultant to develop and execute an outreach approach informed by prior reports in the field.
The work encompasses creating strategic branding and messaging to shift the public’s perception of restoration organizations from being prescriptive and holding unrealistic expectations to collaborating effectively with land managers for individualized, aligned solutions. Additionally, the consultant will develop accessible communications that translate complex ecological science into language tailored to resonate with land managers, aligning with their needs and objectives.
Through these efforts, the project seeks to strengthen engagement, foster collaboration, and increase the effectiveness of streamside restoration activities within the agency's purview.
