The agency seeks a strategic planning consultant to assist in developing a clear and actionable 3–5–year strategic plan. The consultant will help align organizational goals with community needs, funding requirements, and regulatory expectations, while strengthening organizational sustainability and capacity. Key responsibilities include identifying strategic priorities, measurable goals, and implementation strategies.

The consultant will be expected to review relevant organizational materials such as mission/vision statements, prior strategic plans, budgets, program data, organizational charts, and policies. Engagement with board members, staff, senior center teams, program participants, and community partners is required through accessible methods like surveys, focus groups, interviews, or facilitated sessions. The consultant will conduct a SWOT or similar analysis to identify trends affecting aging services, funding, workforce, and community needs, culminating in the preparation of a draft strategic plan with defined goals, objectives, strategies, and timelines.
