The client seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive strategic planning, advisory, research, analysis, facilitation, and related consulting services to support the implementation and ongoing evolution of the Vendor Relationship Management (VRM) function. Services will include advisory and mentorship support for VRM team members, as well as continual updates and enhancements to VRM procedures and supporting tools.

The selected consultant will be responsible for developing and delivering VRM process training both within the VRM Unit and to other stakeholders. Additional tasks include coordinating with other Eastern States on vendor management collaboration, ongoing research into best practices in the field, and taking on assignments as a Vendor Relationship Specialist for specific vendors. This role will involve activities such as onboarding, relationship nurturing, performance oversight, risk management, and offboarding. Regular documentation of activities will be required, with bi-weekly status reports submitted for approval.
