Alberta is seeking a consulting partner to support the research, analysis, and development of its 2026–2029 Strategic Plan. The selected consultant will facilitate the confirmation or revision of the organization's vision, mission, and core values as directed by council. This engagement includes a thorough review of existing corporate plans and reports to ensure alignment with other foundational documents, such as the Municipal Development Plan, Municipal Sustainability Plan, Water Master Plan, Recreation Parks & Open Spaces Master Plan, and the Destination Leadership Management Plan.

The consultant will provide research and facilitation services that support council’s strategic priorities, working closely with stakeholders to develop a strategic plan that is aligned with Alberta’s corporate and financial capacities. Additionally, the consultant will collaborate with Senior Administration to design a detailed implementation roadmap, including a Corporate Plan featuring SMART key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure progress and success over the 2026–2029 period.
