Louisiana Economic Development is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver strategic IT modernization and infrastructure transition services. The selected vendor will be responsible for assessing, modernizing, and optimizing the agency’s IT equipment and server infrastructure to enhance operational effectiveness.

Key responsibilities include conducting a comprehensive IT survey and inventory of all current hardware such as workstations, laptops, video production systems, phones, tablets, printers, scanners, docking stations, monitors, UPS units, networking equipment, servers, and relevant software. The vendor will reconfigure both existing and newly acquired IT equipment, implement approved software enhancements, and modernize the complete IT infrastructure, including Voice over IP (VOIP) systems.

A significant part of the engagement involves transitioning the agency’s network and server infrastructure from the current OTS data center to a commercial data center, ensuring the implementation of all necessary hardware and software components to support reliable and secure IT operations. The provider will also be expected to evaluate existing technologies, report findings and recommendations, configure IT equipment with agency-authorized security protocols, offer ongoing network and VOIP support, and implement monitoring solutions to maintain infrastructure performance and reliability.

The contract is anticipated to run for three years.
