A consulting firm is sought to provide strategic energy management support services for commercial customers in British Columbia. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies or systems to advance strategic energy management initiatives, track results, and monitor progress across the commercial customer base.

Core responsibilities include designing a framework for Energy Management Assessments (EMA) and a transparent, adaptable scoring system to evaluate customers’ current energy management practices and progress. The consultant will also support the creation of strategic energy management plans tailored to customers’ needs.

Ongoing coaching will be provided to assist customers in implementing action items and achieving deliverables outlined in their energy management agreements. Additional duties include real-time reporting on coaching activities versus budget, guidance on the development of relevant policies and roadmaps, as well as the organization and delivery of sector-specific networking sessions. These services aim to foster continuous improvement and best practices among commercial energy users.
