A vendor is sought to develop a comprehensive, transparent, and non-proprietary Asset Health Index (AHI) and Risk Matrix framework for transmission assets in Alberta. This framework will support optimized asset management and capital planning by enabling evidence-based, data-driven decision-making and aligning with regulatory requirements.
The chosen vendor will be responsible for identifying and addressing data gaps, enhancing data quality, and ensuring integration with existing asset management systems such as Ivara, GIS, and SCADA. The resulting processes and methodologies must be auditable to facilitate regulatory reviews and stakeholder validation.
The engagement includes facilitating regular strategic business reviews focused on service activities, performance evaluation, the discussion and resolution of significant issues, and exploration of beneficial opportunities for both the client and the contractor. Ongoing agenda items will include performance analysis, emerging issue identification, and tracking the resolution of outstanding matters.
