The vendor will provide comprehensive stormwater outreach services to support public education on the harmful effects of stormwater pollution. The outreach program aims to engage and educate the general public, students, and businesses, focusing on ways to protect local creeks and rivers.

The selected vendor will develop and implement a public education strategy that defines education tasks based on identified water quality issues, relevant audiences, and anticipated effectiveness. Activities will include leading outreach campaigns with key messages aligned with regulatory requirements, such as reducing illicit discharges and promoting the proper use of pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers. The vendor will offer education and training for students to enhance their awareness of pollutants and encourage stewardship of waterways, as well as develop public engagement programs and media messaging. The initial contract duration is three years.
