DESCRIPTION

The vendor will provide spray foam insulation installation services for a government authority in Jackson, Wyoming. The one-year contract includes field verification of dimensions, quantities, substrate conditions, panel profiles, framing, penetrations, and access requirements before materials are ordered or application begins.

The work includes cleaning and preparing substrates according to the insulation manufacturer’s written instructions; removing dirt, oil, moisture, loose coatings, corrosion products, and other materials that could impair bonding; and sealing gaps, joints, transitions, shim spaces, and penetrations within the insulated opaque envelope. The installation must create a continuous air and vapor-control layer while maintaining required clearances at doors, service penetrations, eaves, bases, and wall-to-roof interfaces.

The vendor must provide masking, overspray protection, ventilation, fire prevention, environmental controls, and temporary exclusion zones required by the product safety data and application instructions. Spray foam, coatings, dust, and cleaning agents must be prevented from contacting food-waste processing equipment or stored materials. The scope excludes translucent wall panel replacement or modification, heating-system design or installation, mechanical ventilation and related systems, structural modifications other than approved minor incidental supports or protection, and architectural or engineering redesign. Questions are due by October 2, 2026, and a voluntary site visit is scheduled for September 28, 2026.
