The Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division (EFLHD), is seeking information from qualified small businesses interested in providing construction inspection and related engineering services under potential Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IDIQC). Services will support Federal Land Management Agencies (FLMA), including the National Park Service, the U.S. Forest Service, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, and Bureau of Land Management, across all U.S. states and territories.
Anticipated work under these IDIQ contracts includes inspection and documentation of highway and bridge construction, monitoring contractor compliance, reviewing submittals, materials inspection coordination, safety and environmental monitoring, progress tracking, schedule monitoring, and related contract administration. Projects may involve roadway construction and rehabilitation, pavement improvements, bridge repair or replacement, drainage enhancements, erosion control, traffic control, signage installation, safety improvements, and other infrastructure work. All services are to be supervised by a Licensed Professional Engineer. Prospective contractors should demonstrate their ability to perform at least 50% of the contract with their own workforce and have recent experience in similar large-scale transportation infrastructure projects.
