The government of Belize is seeking a qualified vendor to design, customize, deploy, train users on, and maintain a comprehensive open-source Police Records Management Information System. This system aims to improve the efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of policing operations throughout the country by standardizing digital workflows and enhancing data management across police department formations.
During the initial development iteration, the vendor will be responsible for configuring core functional modules and early intelligence capabilities. The system should include a public services portal for incident submissions and police report applications, synchronize public input with internal records, and facilitate structured incident and traffic reporting for both officers and the public. Additional required modules encompass case management, arrest and booking tracking, call-for-service dispatch and response management, evidence chain-of-custody, warrants management, and an armory registry to monitor weapons and ammunition allocation.
The selected partner will deliver a solution that ensures seamless integration of these modules, robust data security, and comprehensive user training for police personnel and stakeholders. Ongoing maintenance and technical support are also within the project scope to ensure long-term sustainability and system performance.
