The U.S. Government is seeking responses from qualified vendors regarding the sole source software maintenance of the Nuclear Enterprise Tactical Assault Kit (TAK). This effort involves ongoing maintenance and updates for the TAK software, which supports Department of War Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear, and high–yield Explosives (CBRNE) systems. The follow-on contract is currently proposed as a Firm Fixed Price award to Charles Stark Draper Laboratory, Inc., underlining the specialized nature of the required services.

Interested vendors are encouraged to submit capability statements demonstrating relevant expertise. Important qualifications include experience integrating CBRN sensors and MANET radios into TAK platforms, developing TAK Plug-ins, and working with Rad COT and Rad Protobuf APIs. Additional sought-after experience includes TAK Server administration and modification, WebTAK development, creating and modifying WebTAK plug-ins and features, and having personnel skilled in Human Centered Engineering. Proposals should also address strategies for comprehensive regression testing with TAK products and plug-ins, as well as proficiency with containerized services and microservices.
