The Mission and Installation Contracting Command at Fort Bliss is conducting market research to identify qualified providers for a Software Training System Service, specifically a Synthetic Small Arms Simulation System. This effort aims to enhance the training of soldiers in combat marksmanship and cognitive skills at McGregor Range in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

The required system will deliver Training as a Service (TaaS) and feature elements such as grid pattern sports vision, cognitive drills, and human performance exercises. Training will include the use of synthetic or live-fire converted weapons powered by a compressed air charging station. The simulation platform is intended to support advanced marksmanship and facilitate training in operations, tactics, threat and non-threat recognition, and eye tracking.
