(1) Vendor needs to provide software and implementation services– The overall goal of this project is to take advantage of the newest technology and harness efficiencies by reviewing business processes or implementing technology to enhance existing business processes– Key objectives and outcomes resulting from the replacement of current software systems environments, include, but are not limited to:– Enhancing operational effectiveness with an online portal by making more timely, accurate, and complete information available to citizens, agency and Schools personnel, and vendors.– Robust project– and grant–tracking functionality to reduce the amount of MS Excel–based tracking and provide the necessary information and visibility for the agency.– Streamlining processes for managing the Schools 54 work calendars and contracts.– Refining business processes based on best practices.– Enhancing features and functionality to support increased automation and operational efficiencies by streamlining use of systems.– Benefiting from expanded online and mobile capabilities, such as self–service options for employees and vendors.– Utilizing a robust reporting system with the ability to attach documents and conduct ad hoc reporting.
