The Department of Labor (DOL) is seeking information from industry on advanced social media solutions to enhance the operations of the Division of New Media. The goal is to streamline publishing, governance, and reporting across official Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) channels. As the department's social media presence expands, DOL also aims to work more closely with all internal agencies to coordinate and develop social media content, establish performance standards, collect and act on customer feedback, and utilize data-driven insights to improve content.
This Request for Information (RFI) is intended to inform the Government about the range of potential solutions that can address these objectives. Companies are encouraged to share information about tools, services, and methodologies that could support social media management, analytics, and content governance at a federal agency scale. Selected relevant respondents may be invited to demonstrate their solutions to a panel of subject matter experts for further assessment.
Best-fit vendors:
• Providers of enterprise social media management platforms
• Experience supporting federal or large public sector clients
• Demonstrable expertise in social media analytics and content governance
• Ability to deliver robust data-driven reporting and workflow tools
