The City seeks a vendor to provide social media archiving services designed to capture and manage records of communications sent and received across its social media platforms. The archiving process must include robust data capture, records management features, public information access capabilities, alert tools for moderation support, and comprehensive analytical data reporting.
A key requirement is comprehensive archival of all social media interactions, paired with a searchable database of records produced. The selected solution should allow for organizational management across multiple users and departments, supporting oversight and compliance needs. An important aspect is the ability to accurately reproduce social media content and replay it in the same manner as it originally appeared on the respective social networks.
Additionally, the vendor must provide an advanced interface to refine searches and export specific content in response to records requests. The contract period for the selected vendor will be two years.
Best-fit vendors:
• Proven experience in social media archiving for government or public sector clients
• Robust data management and analytical reporting capabilities
• Ability to provide user-friendly interfaces for search, export, and content replay
• Demonstrated capacity for multi-user and departmental management
• Familiarity with U.S. public records compliance requirements
