Since 2016, the NIDDK has relied on the Sitecore content management system to manage an expansive public-facing web presence, which currently serves nearly 60 million visitors each year. The platform supports 4,873 mobile-enabled webpages and 7,813 media assets, serving a critical role in NIDDK's outreach and communication strategies.

The NIDDK public website is essential for facilitating biomedical research, highlighting the value of public investment in relevant research areas, and making health information accessible to the American public. Maintaining uninterrupted access to the Sitecore platform is necessary to support these functions as well as the ongoing federal efforts to consolidate public-facing NIH websites.

This renewal will ensure that the Computer Technology Branch (CTB) staff continue to have reliable access to Sitecore's platform, thereby supporting both daily operations and broader agency communication goals.
