The government authority in Massachusetts is seeking a vendor to provide single audit services. The scope includes issuing an auditor's opinion on financial statements and required supplementary schedules, such as the Schedule of Expenditure of Federal and State Awards and the Financial Data Schedule. The project also demands a comprehensive report on compliance and internal control over financial reporting, based on audits conducted in accordance with Government Auditing Standards (GAS) and/or Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
