The scope requires the safe removal of vertical structures or materials that may necessitate elevated access, controlled dismantling, proper debris handling, and responsible disconnection or management. Contractors must ensure all on-site personnel display clearly visible, contractor-furnished identification at all times, such as a shirt, hat, vest, lanyard, badge, or other state-approved forms.
Sign support structures may include wooden posts, concrete and brick mounts, and steel monopoles, while sign face types could range from static vinyl and tri-vision mechanical to digital LED displays.
