DESCRIPTION
The issuing organization seeks a vendor to provide sign materials supplies in accordance with specified material and fabrication standards. The required materials include aluminum sign blanks using alloy and temper 6061-T6 or 5052 meeting ASTM standards, with a thickness of 0.080 inches.
The sign materials must meet minimum tensile strength requirements, including a minimum ultimate strength of 42,000 PSI and a minimum yield strength of 35,000 PSI. All signs and sign blanks must have radius corners and 3/8-inch diameter mounting holes. Finishes must be either mill finish or conversion coated with high intensity prismatic sheeting in accordance with manufacturer specifications. Edges must be free of burrs, pits, and blemishes, and provide a smooth, flat surface. Roll goods are also required to be high intensity prismatic.
