The selected vendor will deliver an end-to-end solution aimed at assisting the city in managing STRs, including identifying non-compliant properties and facilitating ongoing compliance. Responsibilities will include offering an online reporting and payment platform for STR owners, providing education and training, and maintaining confidentiality regarding STR-related information and nuisance complaints.

Additional services required are the implementation of analytical tools, such as mapping, to improve compliance, forecast revenues, and address complaints. The vendor must also help increase local hotel occupancy tax collections and uphold best practices against cybersecurity threats to the platform, particularly regarding the payment system.
