These vessels, located between St. Louis, Missouri, and Mobile, Alabama, have been designated as excess and require proper disposal.

Vendors with relevant experience, appropriate equipment, and established resources are invited to submit written responses detailing their capabilities. Respondents are requested to provide information regarding their business size and special certifications, such as small business status, disadvantaged group participation, Hub Zone, woman-owned, or service-disabled veteran designations. In addition, vendors should share their experience with vessel scrapping, including details on facility locations, previous projects for government or commercial clients, and the ability to handle vessels of this size.

Feedback on the draft shipbreaking specifications is encouraged as part of the response. This is a preliminary information request to assess market capabilities and inform potential future procurement activities.
