A municipality in Florida is seeking a qualified vendor to upgrade and enhance the SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems at multiple wastewater pump stations. The project encompasses control panel retrofits, installation and integration of new communications equipment, servers, SCADA software, and related accessories to modernize the existing infrastructure.
The selected vendor will be responsible for the removal of existing SCADA controllers, radios, and modems, and the installation of new SCADA controllers equipped with digital and analog I/O capabilities. The scope also includes integrating new radios, modems, antennas, lightning arresters, and all required connectors, along with performing comprehensive wiring, labeling, and testing of new system components. New backup level controllers and enclosures must be installed where necessary, with coordination with the City or a designated third-party installer for enclosure placement.
All installations must accommodate digital, analog, and counter inputs suitable for pump station operations, and utilize reliable radio-based communications. Additional requirements include the installation of antennas appropriate for indoor or panel-mounting, as well as surge protection, lightning arresters, and signal isolation devices to ensure system reliability and safety.
