The objective is to enhance system functionality, streamline multi-layered software and licensing requirements, and leverage existing infrastructure while considering innovative alternatives for improved system performance.

The scope includes either advancing the current Wonderware InTouch-based application or migrating to a new HMI platform that offers superior integration, reduced licensing complexity, and a simplified architecture. If an alternative platform is proposed, vendors must provide a clear rationale highlighting benefits such as system simplification and license reduction. Security is a key consideration, requiring secure authentication, authorization, and encryption for both system access and data transmission, adhering to recognized security frameworks.

The upgraded system must ensure compatibility with existing Tesco Controls field equipment and PLCs, as well as confirm network hardware compatibility. The selected vendor will conduct a thorough analysis of the current SCADA system architecture, including both hardware and software components. The contract is anticipated to span one year.
