The government authority in Colorado is seeking a vendor to provide satellite compliance and performance monitoring services supporting broadband serviceable locations under the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment program. The selected vendor will be responsible for confirming that all physical equipment, including consumer premises equipment and satellite dishes, are activated at the funded locations.
The scope of work includes developing a methodology to test whether the broadband network at these locations can support the statutorily required speeds and latency, especially when the network is under load. The vendor will also review provider technical data and track the number of net–new subscriptions compared to the provider's reported subscription data. These services are essential to ensure compliance with program requirements and support oversight of broadband deployment progress.
Best-fit vendors:
• Experience with satellite broadband networks and compliance monitoring
• Proven track record in broadband performance assessment
• Ability to develop testing methodologies for network speed and latency
• Familiarity with federal and state broadband deployment programs
• Based in or able to operate within Colorado
