DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive Salesforce integration modernization service aimed at upgrading various business processes currently reliant on outdated departmental tools such as Excel, Access, Outlook, and ColdFusion. Responsibilities include designing, building, and configuring Salesforce solutions in alignment with approved designs and adhering to Salesforce Well-Architected Framework principles throughout the engagement.

The project encompasses a full assessment of thirteen legacy departmental and end-user applications, with thorough documentation of current (As-Is) architecture, processes, and data landscape. The vendor will design a future-state (To-Be) Salesforce architecture and develop a detailed, prioritized modernization roadmap, including a security model and data migration execution plan for the new environment. Key activities also involve business function mapping, user base and integration dependency analysis, and technology risk assessment.

Vendors are expected to document as-is and to-be process flows, identify inefficiencies and risks, and provide comprehensive diagrams of application and integration architectures. A complete data inventory, profiling, and relationship mapping must be completed. The modernization strategy will evaluate each application's disposition using industry-standard frameworks, with the development and roll-out of new Salesforce-based applications, data migration, cleansing, and transformation strategies as required.
