The selected vendor will provide a comprehensive route management and optimization solution. This includes delivering software and hardware, overseeing implementation services, conducting training, providing maintenance, ensuring integration support, and ongoing technical support. The software should offer both dynamic and static route optimization for residential and commercial solid waste collection, as well as mobile in-cab technology that is compatible with Android and/or iOS devices.

The solution must feature real-time GPS tracking and monitoring of vehicle locations, route progress, and service status. It must provide service verification using time-stamped service records, GPS location data, exception reporting, and tools to document missed pickups. Communication tools are required for driver-to-driver and dispatcher-to-driver messaging, as well as navigation tools for turn-by-turn route guidance to service locations and agency facilities.
