This Request for Information (RFI) is being conducted to identify potential sources that possess the expertise, capabilities, and experience to provide the following for Tobyhanna Army Depot, 11 Hap Arnold Boulevard, Tobyhanna, PA 18466: 1. one (1) Prototype/Low–Rate Initial Production (LRIP) Robotic Wire Harness Manufacturing Machine; 2. one (1) Full Rate Production Robotic Wire Harness Manufacturing Machine. For both pieces of equipment: 3. Machine Documentation; 4. Software to Operate; 5. Engineering Services. Please refer to the DRAFT Statement of Work, included with this announcement, for more information about the requirements. This RFI is issued solely for market research information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The information submitted in response to this RFI may be used to help the Government further define its requirements. Responses will be treated as information only and will not be used as a proposal. All data received in response to this Sources Sought Notice marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from any release from the Government. Responses to this notice are not offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The Government does not intend to make an award based on this RFI. The Government reserves the right to follow up on a one–on–one basis with RFI respondents to gain additional information or clarity about information submitted. GENERAL REQUIREMENTS: The Government is seeking to identify potential sources capable of satisfying this complete requirement at the prime contractor level under NAICS code 333998 and PSC 4330.
