Vendor needs to provide river restoration strategy development service. Provide planning and facilitation support around habitat restoration and recovery. The contractor will develop recommendations by compiling existing field data and studies, gathering new data when possible, providing input into and interpreting results from hydrological modelling, and soliciting technical expertise for locally supported approaches. Develop storage location for reports, datasets and spatial information for project participants to access in the future in a single location. Facilitation of River Basin subcommittee to set restoration targets, share information during current project implementation and development, develop new project concepts as data compilation becomes available and vet, then prioritize, project ideas. Identification of project concepts leading to future habitat restoration, protection and enhancement actions. Plan development and writing. Facilitate development of shared restoration vision and targets. Locate, compile and create summaries of water, groundwater, hydrology, water quality, and aquatic species studies done by federal, tribal, state, local and private scientists and store links to these studies on a shared platform. Identify data gaps. Conduct drone surveys of priority reaches (as resources allow). Develop a means to display and share relevant spatial data to support project development. Write a “Local Strategy”.
