(1) Vendor needs to provide risk management strategy service– The strategy will guide wildfire risk assessment, mitigation, education, and operational planning across Regional and Community Parks and Trails.– The successful proponent will:– Conduct wildfire risk inventory and gap analysis across agency parks and trails.– Develop wildfire risk management policies, standard operating procedures, and inspection procedures.– Provide general recommendations on how Wildfire Risk Management Strategies and Fire Smart Principles can be included in future management plans and management plan updates.– Design public and staff education strategies.– Create an actionable implementation plan including vegetation management and Fire Smart integration.– Design and implement engagement events for interested and affected parties, including First Nations, fire departments, and stewardship groups including but not limited to; two public open–house events, three workshops/facilitated discussions with local fire departments and agency staff, and one online survey to engage with the public.
