The State of Kansas is seeking information from vendors regarding comprehensive utility software solutions tailored for municipal utilities. The desired system should provide integrated applications, including Meter Data Management (MDM) and advanced analytics to support accurate billing and data-driven operational decision-making for municipal water utility accounts.
The solution should also include a customer interface, enabling self-service options for utility customers. A robust reporting and analytics platform is required to deliver both real-time and historical data insights to facilitate effective utility management. Additionally, the Customer Information System (CIS) must support medium to large municipalities by managing consolidated customer accounts across multiple utilities—such as water, sewer, and trash—and handle integration with external utility services for complex billing scenarios.
A work order management system is also sought to improve field work order processes, promote seamless communication among stakeholders, and capture detailed field data including narratives, measurements, and images. Vendors are invited to submit their questions regarding this opportunity by December 5, 2025.
