A Request for Information (RFI) has been issued in Tennessee for the replacement of some or all existing travel systems. The objective is to implement a comprehensive, integrated travel system that supports a full spectrum of travel management functions. Required features include travel reservation requests, online booking capabilities, expense reimbursement requests and approvals, travel audit operations, and robust travel analytics. The system must accommodate multiple expense types, workflow approval processes, and facilitate payments to both employees and external vendors or non-employees.

Vendors are invited to propose solutions that are either cloud-based or offered as an on-premises Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) model. Compliance with cybersecurity standards, including the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA) and relevant regulatory requirements, is mandatory. The proposed system should support comprehensive compliance audits, provide role-based security management, and include easily configurable options that allow for customization and adaptable workflows. This initiative aims to enhance operational efficiency and maintain the highest levels of data security and audit readiness.
