Alberta is requesting information from vendors regarding the provision of a pavement management system (PMS) to support strategic planning and informed decision-making for highway infrastructure. The desired PMS should deliver a comprehensive overview of pavement conditions across the network and offer robust tools for maintenance and rehabilitation planning. An ideal solution will also include, or integrate with, a bridge management system (BMS), alongside the capability to manage geotechnical data for improved planning and risk analysis.
Essential features include a cloud-based operational environment, compatibility with asset inventory systems, advanced security and user access controls, and pavement rehabilitation optimization analysis. The system should also support GIS-native appurtenance inventory management, mobile inspection and field data collection, as well as capturing and maintaining data on asset classes. Integrated analytics and dashboards, paired with interactive map displays such as ArcGIS, are key requirements to provide actionable insights for infrastructure administrators.
Vendors are invited to submit their solutions' details and capabilities, with any questions regarding this request to be submitted by January 16, 2026.
