Summary:
Request for information for a modern, mobile-friendly municipal ticketing solution to enhance and complement existing paper-based systems in British Columbia.
(1) Vendor needs to provide municipal tickets solution.– Modern, mobile–friendly, and user–centric Administration Solution built on a secure and scalable technology platform, designed to complement and enhance the existing paper–based ticketing system. • Solution manages multiple corporations/departments independently. • System supports the continued use of existing printed ticket books and the electronic ticketing solution. • Issued tickets can be voided/cancelled based on certain criteria/reasons. • Mobile friendly Ticketing solution and supported devices. • Offline ticketing and queuing capabilities of the system (i.e. at remote locations). • Users can view their tickets, ticket status and the tickets history. • Different online payment options available (e.g. credit and/or debit card). • Fees/amounts due are reflected correctly (i.e. based on regular fees, early payment, late payment fee, penalty, adjudication/surcharge). • Users can see/view reminders and notifications. • Access management capabilities available to administrators to manage access, roles and permissions. • Options available to make ad hoc adjustments (based on adjudication results) to ticket amounts and the status of a ticket. • System shall support the assignment of a screening officer to handle a dispute. • System allows the user (based on roles & permissions) to capture and update payment status (i.e., related to cheques, payment captured via another payment solution). (2) All the questions must be submitted no later than January 9, 2026.
