Alberta is seeking information from vendors regarding integrated booking and scheduling management solutions suitable for its food centre and bio-industrial operations. The desired solution should be modern, scalable, and capable of streamlining operations, while providing an enhanced user experience for a variety of stakeholders.

Core requirements include comprehensive booking and scheduling functionalities to manage rooms, equipment, and staff across pilot plants, laboratories, and shared spaces. The system should incorporate features such as conflict detection, conditional booking, and robust multi-user and access management, including role-based security and the ability to configure service providers and service hours.

Additional functionalities sought include extensive reporting and analytics capabilities, such as usage reports, KPI dashboards, and integration with business intelligence tools. The solution should facilitate efficient workflows among cross-functional teams—including sanitation, maintenance, and processing—and support billing requirements. The implementation is expected to be a cloud or hybrid deployment, scalable to approximately 70 users, compliant with Government of Alberta standards, and designed with a user-friendly, responsive interface for ease of navigation.
