The government authority in Eatontown, New Jersey is seeking information from vendors capable of providing co-located hosting services. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring robust physical security within the data center, including implementation of mantraps at main facility entrances, dual-factor authentication with biometric screening for secure area access, and comprehensive digital video surveillance that monitors all entry points and loading docks 24x7x365. All video recordings must be archived for a minimum of five calendar days, documenting personnel movements within both the agency's assigned spaces and general data center hallways; these recordings should be available to the agency upon request by the next business day.
The facility must be staffed around the clock with qualified personnel able to perform smart hands support services, including network engineers with certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, or their equivalent. Technicians must be available for dispatch for smart hands support within four hours of receiving a support ticket. Additionally, the contractor should offer workspace, at minimum an available cubicle, for customer staff use on-site.
