The State of California is seeking information from qualified vendors regarding a Childcare Connect Solution. The project requirements are divided into State-Level and Provider-Level information management.

For State-Level needs, the solution must support the collection and dissemination of lead agency contact information, details about local childcare resource and referral services, clear descriptions of childcare licensing requirements and processes, and facilitate the annual reporting of key performance indicators. Provider-Level requirements include tools for zip-code based searches of childcare providers, display of provider quality ratings, timely posting of inspection and monitoring reports for licensed providers, and comprehensive provider service information to assist families in making informed choices.

Interested vendors are asked to submit any questions by March 31, 2026.
