Vendor needs to provide resource sharing and interlibrary loan management system.– Solution should address these core functions: • Support for the full request lifecycle of returnable and non‑returnable materials. • Support centralized broker/hub models and multi‑site lenders within a consortium or network, including prioritization and tiered request options. • Provide options to push unfillable requests to external partners or networks without manual data re–entry. • Create a union catalog where patrons can discover items and place/manage requests with robust support for varied authentication options from multiple sources. • Support patron authentication and library authorization to licensed electronic database resources such as e–books, journals, and educational databases – directly within the discovery layer – where supported by content providers. • Deliver a web‑based staff interface to view, edit, and manage requests, patrons, and records. • Offer standard reports and reporting UI to track borrowing, lending, and document delivery activity and outcomes across the network.
