Vendor needs to provide remote surveillance system. The solution presented should be capable of the following: Ability to monitor both Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and asthma patients; Ability to build a questionnaire for each disease (assess breathing for improvement, worsening; CAT (COPD assessment test) for Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease or asthma control test for asthma); Be Canadian French and Canadian English for utilizing terms and expressions understood in New Brunswick, adapted to a grade 5 literacy level; User-friendly in Canadian French and Canadian English for Health Care Professionals using the application; Have application, text, automated calls on landline and/or cell phone/email options; Be able to control and adjust frequency of calls, survey or questions asked; Have incoming and outgoing options so patients can 'check-in' with a notification system allowing Health Care Professional to be alerted of the information added; Be compatible with Meditech or alternative system being used for clinical documentation and for booking purposes; Capability to add asthma and Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease self-management applications; Evidence of impact of using their product; Ability to generate reports within the system for statistic purposes; Be accessible through all zones so other zones within the agency Health Network can assist and monitor patients during staffing shortages; Have the capability for the system to communicate between Internal, Regional, Provincial and External departments and Networks.
