The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Huntsville Engineering and Support Center, is announcing its intent to award a sole source Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Single Award Task Order Contract for support and enhancement of the Remedial Action Cost Engineering and Requirements (RACER) and Parametric Cost Engineering System (PACES) software applications. This contract will be awarded to AECOM Technical Service, Inc. and includes a five-year ordering period with an additional six-month extension option.

The scope of work includes a range of services necessary to support, sustain, and enhance the RACER and PACES software, which are utilized for developing cost engineering estimating models for building construction, environmental remedial action cleanup, and site work construction. Specific services to be provided at the task order level encompass support services, defect management, software enhancement, software testing, documentation, training, and the execution of Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 18 (SSAE 18)/System and Organization Controls 1 (SOC 1) audits in accordance with American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) standards. Additional responsibilities include providing verification, validation, and accreditation (VV&A) support for these critical software applications.
